Andikwa is a simple and straightforward to-do list manager. It came about when I was looking for an app for my iPhone to manage my shopping list. I found one, and it works fine, but it cost $0.99, and I couldn't manage my lists on my PC as well. I figured the world might need a free solution, so I started writing one.

So, is there an iPhone or Android app?

Not yet. However, if you visit andikwa.com on your iPhone, Android smart phone, iPod Touch or other smart mobile device, it should look fine. If it doesn't, let me know.

When will the site stop looking so plain, and start looking better?

I've contracted with a good HTML/CSS person, but (like most good designers are) she's busy at the moment, but will tackle it in mid to late April.

When will new features be added?

Continuously, over the next few weeks.

What works now?

  • Create as many lists as you want
  • Add items to lists
  • Remove items from lists
  • Delete lists
  • Change the names of lists and list items
  • Mark items as complete (just check the box next to the item)
  • Share lists with your Facebook friends
  • View your lists as RSS feeds (for example, to add them to My Yahoo!)
  • Use the site on your smartphone

What doesn't?

Mailing copies of lists to yourself, creating lists via copy/paste, creating lists via file upload, reordering list items, using the application from within Facebook, and managing your account.

Where can I go for more information?

The Andikwa page on Facebook.
